Is this free, and do I need to sign in?

The VHS photo filter is free and needs no account or credits. Other AI editing tools on Sevli have their own pricing.

What files and resolution can I use?

Upload JPG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB. Photos are resized to at most 2048 pixels on the longest side and exported as PNG. Transparent areas are placed on black.

Does it process videos or use my camera?

This version processes still photos only. It does not record a camera, add audio or export video. The tape effect is a creative simulation.

Is VHS the same as a CRT effect?

VHS suggests recorded tape: soft color, noise and tracking damage. CRT describes the display. This photo tool combines tape-inspired styling with optional scanlines; it is not a physical tape simulator.
